Commercial EDGE -Building Permits Up In May

Commercial building permits are up in May by 1.1% for the second straight month.  On the other hand residential permits have declined 6.6%.

Commercial permits for the month had a value of 6.6 billion an increase of 1.1% over April.  This also was the highest value of permits since Nov. 2006.
