Is it the end of the suburban boom?

So if you have been following the price of gas is getting out of hand quite quickly.  To be honest I don’t think that trend will change anytime soon.  With that said, here is what I think is going to happen. I believe that the cost of houses outside of major urban centres are going to take a hit, may be not a noise dive but a small trip south or at least a leveling off.  Houses with in urban centres like Toronto for instance will contine to rise, this will be because we are going to see a mass return to city living from all those folks that left years ago and now realize that the cost of gas is putting a major dent in thier wallets.
