Toronto Neighbourhood – Summerhill

Summerhill comprises of mature trees, winding roads and an abundance of parkland!  It is a highly desired neighbourhood that is located West of Mount Pleasant Road, East of Avenue Road and South of St. Clair Avenue West.

The homes in Summerhill are predominantly semi-detached and detached houses built between the late 1800′s and early 1900′s.  You can also find a number of luxury townhouses and condominiums that cater to the conveniences of city living.   Home prices typically start in the mid-high $500,000′s and can often exceed $1,000,000.

The intersection of Yonge Street and Summerhill Avenue are home to many unique shops and restaurants, and residents can easily access both the Bloor-Yorkville and Yonge and St.Clair shopping areas.

The Summerhill TTC subway station is located on Yonge Street and is within walking distance to may of the homes in the area.

Within Summerhill residents and visitors can enjoy many outdoor activities.  The Rosehill Reservoir Park is located on the East side of Yonge Street and has direct access to Summerhill Gardens.  The park includes; a childrens playground, foot and cycle paths and a wading pool.   The foot paths also connect you the David A. Balfour Park.
