Toronto Neighbourhood – The Annex
The Annex to many people is defined as an affluent neighbourhood with well-educated residents and tree lined streets of Victorian homes and mansions.
The boarders vary depending on your source, however, according to the City of Toronto, The Annex spans as far East as Yonge Street, West as Bathurst, North as Dupont and South as Bloor. Traditionally the boarder did not pass Avenue Road.
The Annex is home to many students, faculty and alumni due to its close proximity to Toronto Universities.
There are two Wards within the boundaries of The Annex:

The Annex is well served by public transportation. Subway stations are located at Bathurst Street on the Bloor-Danforth line, at Spadina Road on the Bloor-Danforth line and at Dupont Street on the Yonge-University-Spadina line. Additionally there are a number of TTC bus routes throughout The Annex neighbourhood.
